Absolutely have created a new identity for Keeping Business Local as well as supporting material for the Expos and developing a social media strategy.

With most exhibitions in London many Local Businesses can’t afford the time or generally the cost to exhibit.  Keeping Business Local Expo’s fill the gap in the market for SME’s businesses to showcase their company, Network and Find New Suppliers and these exhibitions are replicated in Local towns around Thames Valley, Hampshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire.

The events are in support of the Federation of Small Business, Keep Trade Local campaign and these are the upcoming events in 2010:

The New Identity

The identity needed to be clean, fresh, modern and flexible. As such the logo can be used in a number of ways whilst retaining the honesty of the brand.

The identity also has a secondary tie in which is particularly useful for individual Expo’s and can be used for specific impact on large banners, advertising and social media. It retains the feel of the identity yet highlights the Expo details with the core logo acting as a sign-off on collateral.

Email Marketing

This email went out to 9,000 contacts of unclean data, to encourage people to book a stand or confirm their place as an attendee at the Basingstoke Expo. According to the UK Email Marketing Benchmark Figures the average figures for event emails is:

Opens: 10.39%

Clicks: 0.58%

The Keeping Business Local Email was opened by 14.17%

5.72% clicked through to a link.

Our client received 217 genuine email enquiries about stand availability for the event. This clearly shows the benefit of clear communication and a considered design approach for Email Marketing.

This second Save the date email was sent out a week and a half ahead of the Expo. It was to solely encourage people to attend the event.

The Email was opened by 16.09%

4.01% clicked through to a link.

Once again outperforming the industry standard figures.
